COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update: If you believe you have been exposed to the coronavirus and have no symptoms, you may contact your doctor for advice. Practice routine precautions such as social distancing.

If you have symptoms that are flu-like, including fever, cough, and shortness of breath, you may call your primary care doctor or use UPMC AnywhereCare. A video visit from home limits the spread of infection, and if needed, UPMC can guide you safely to the next care site. View AnywhereCare COVID-19 FAQ PDF

If you are experiencing severe symptoms such as trouble breathing, you should visit an emergency department in your community for immediate care. If you can, call ahead of time so they may prepare for your arrival and prevent the spread of any illness, but do not delay if you have severe breathing problems.

UPMC Health Plan is waiving member cost-sharing for AnywhereCare visits through June 15, including deductibles or co-payments for most members. Learn more here (includes terms).

Coughs, colds, allergies — anything that's keeping you from being at your best. UPMC AnywhereCare gives patients with non-emergency symptoms the chance to get the quality care they need online quickly. Anytime. Anywhere.

No traffic or parking hassles and no waiting to schedule an appointment. Instead, you can speak with a health care professional using a secure, high-quality streaming video. And, if needed, we can send prescriptions directly to your pharmacy.

The cost of a UPMC AnywhereCare visit is $59 (or less, depending on your insurance provider). Prescriptions, if needed, must be paid for separately by the patient.

Other than with UPMC Health Plan, UPMC AnywhereCare is not currently a participating provider with respect to these telemedicine services with Medicare, Medicaid, or other third party payers. Patients receiving services through UPMC AnywhereCare who are not UPMC Health Plan members therefore acknowledge and agree that claims for such services will not be submitted to these payers nor will they otherwise be covered by such payers. Patients therefore are personally responsible for any charges incurred while receiving care via UPMC AnywhereCare.
