Coughs, colds, allergies - anything that's keeping you from being at your best. UPMC AnywhereCare gives patients with non-emergency symptoms like these the opportunity to get the quality care they need online quickly. Anytime. Anywhere in Pennsylvania.
No traffic or parking hassles. No waiting to schedule an appointment or sitting in a waiting room. Instead, you can chat with a healthcare professional online and get a personalized response from a UPMC provider - usually within 30 minutes of submitting your symptoms. And, if needed, prescriptions can be sent directly to your pharmacy.
The cost of a UPMC AnywhereCare visit is $38 (or less, depending on your insurance provider). Prescriptions, if needed, must be paid for separately by the patient.
Other than with UPMC Health Plan, UPMC AnywhereCare is not currently a participating provider with respect to these telemedicine services with Medicare, Medicaid, or other third party payers. Patients receiving services through UPMC AnywhereCare who are not UPMC Health Plan members therefore acknowledge and agree that claims for such services will not be submitted to these payers nor will they otherwise be covered by such payers. Patients therefore are personally responsible for any charges incurred while receiving care via UPMC AnywhereCare.
The following conditions can be treated via UPMC AnywhereCare:

After the symptom checker questionnaire has been submitted, a member of the UPMC medical team will participate in a secure messaging conversation with you to consult and answer any additional medical questions that will help to make an accurate diagnosis.
Based on your answers to the questionnaire and any follow-up questions, the health care provider will provide an online diagnosis and recommend a personal treatment plan and advice, prepared just for you.
